So I know today is a big day for many people in hearing back from Emory. There are many things to remember about college -- it's really what you make of where you go. There are SO many things to do at different schools and each school has their own flavor.
I hope that everyone who applied made it into Emory, but the reality is, we can't take everyone. Every year the application pool gets harder and harder, and while it may seem rough not making it into Emory - it's not the end of the world. There are many other amazing schools out there, and like I said you can do big things everywhere.
This isn't the end of the world just another decision we have to make. Being a senior now and not having heard back from Medical Schools is tough. I have not heard a yes or a no, so no news is good news at this point - but it's frustrating. Take what you can get and have the most fun with it as you can.
My favorite quote is the following:
LIFE HAPPENS - enjoy and make the best of what comes your way!
