On March 24, 2007, CNN aired a feature by Dr. Sanjay Gupta about being a resident. It was called "Grady's Anatomy". It is an amazing sight into the life of a Resident. Probably one of the best and honest looks at what it means to be a resident.*
For those of you who don't know, Grady is a major hospital in the Atlanta area and is actually the home to about 900 Emory and Moorehouse medical residents.
Anyways, if you get a chance, or see a rerun, you should really take the time to watch the show/documentary "Grady's Anatomy".
Oh, and if you see it come on - or know when they are going to rerun it, let me know!

*For those of you who don't know what a resident is, they are Medical Doctors (MD) who have graduated from medical school and are in training to become self-standing doctors. All of the people who are residents are officially MD's, but they are not allowed to practice on their own until they complete their residencies. As I understand it, 3 years is the minimum and it can go up to 12-14 for specialized surgery! :)
